Dear Surrey Street Action Group or Market Traders & Business Group member;
A vision for Surrey Street is being developed with local partners that aims to ensure that future investment in the Surrey Street area reflects local priorities, needs and aspirations.
The vision for Surrey Street will support the Mayor’s new Growth Plan and Town Centre Vision, which seeks to create a vibrant town centre, that celebrates the unique and layered heritage of the area, and creates a destination for all, drawing in current and future residents and visitors.
The emerging vision will include both short-term projects that will be completed during the Amplifying Surrey Street programme*, and longer-term projects that could be undertaken over the next 10 years subject to further funding being sought.
We invite you to share your thoughts on these, along with the indicative projects that make up the vision for Surrey Street.
