(Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) regulations 2012)
Have your say on our new draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan SPD and proposed designation of Locally Listed Buildings for the Webb Estate and Upper Woodcote Village Conservation Areas in Purley. The consultation will be running until 02 October 2025. You are invited to comment on the draft CAAMP document and local listing proposals.
The new CAAMP includes a detailed description of the area and its history, and guidelines and strategies for future management of the area. Following this consultation, the finalised document will be adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) and will be used to guide planning decisions.
Alongside the new CAAMP, proposals have been prepared for additions to the Local List. While these buildings may not meet the national criteria for statutory listing, they add to the local distinctiveness and heritage of the borough, and their local value therefore deserves preservation under the Local List.
